How was your Mother's Day? I hope good. My darling husband and children bought some lovely flowers for me. I love the hydrangea in it.
Of course I got the handmade cards...enough for years of Mother's Days. They don't know when to stop, but that's fine with me.
This surprise was waiting for me downstairs in the morning....big surprise!!
Don't you love the basket? I feel like a French girl in Paris when I'm riding it.
Early on Mother's Day morning (I'm talking 6 a.m.), I heard footsteps running in the hall, a door slam downstairs (twice), and little feet running in and out. Later I found out this is what they were doing. I received some nice things for Mother's day, but this is what it's all about, ladies, ain't it?

I love the bike!!! Oh, that's so cute! I can just see you pedalling along in a little skirt and and a basket of flowers. *grin*
I got a road bike last month that we decided was for my birthday. I've got my eye on one of those mini back pack looking things that would go in the same spot your basket is.
We just bought a new bike for my daughter, and it reminded me that I really need a bike, too, so I can join her. What a nice surprise!

Andrea - LOVE the bike. I knew about it early (hehe) and knew it was going to be a hit! I got my little blue bag yesterday morning...he did good :)) Glad you had a special day in your honor.

Yes looks like you had a really blessed day. The bike is beautiful, so sleek, and feminine, and lovely; as for the flowers and the cards, well...: kids' gifts to their mamas are some of the most precious of all aren't they?!?! Love those pansies too :) Am feeling a little envious right now but mainly so delighted for you that you have such lovely treasures (not just the pretty things, but a family that love and cherish you)
