At first I thought, "this is no big deal, I read to my kids all the time." But then I realized I haven't read a book we could DISCUSS in a long time. So, we are going to tackle a longer chapter book together. One of my favorites to read aloud to my 1st graders when I was a teacher: The Boxcar Children (the 1st one) So much vocabulary! Such a good story! Sweetheart will love it. Thanks for helping me think of doing this!

Andrea,

I agree that Hearth and Home is very much like a blog! The blog before blogs...

In fact, I wondered if she had one. I looked, but couldn't see that she did. So when you said, "It's like reading her blog," were you perhaps suggesting that she *does* have one? Of course, if she does, you *must* send me the link! :)

Hope you're having a great day!
