Summer shoes

So, after much deliberation, I succumbed to the Crocs fad and bought my boy some for the summer.

Adorable, don't you think?

VEry cute. I do wonder, though, if they make a person's feet sweat. Do you have any yourself? Do you know?

I don't have any myself, so I don't know. You know I love my flip flops...

Cute Andrea! My girls have some "faux" ones :). About the sweat question- I say yes. I have some but they weren't ever the right size really. I do love the croc flip-flops however.

i have the "mary jane" crocs and my feet haven't been sweating in them...they are great for gardening and for camping.
Love those lil brown croc feet!!!
they are the BEST for kids to get on quickly themselves and for getting wet etc...my 4 yr old John has an orange pair that he even wore in the winter here!

I looked for the "faux" ones...never could find the plain ones, they all had spider man on them or something.

Love them! Our whole family has them now. My boys wanted bright yellow and royal blue! Did a whole post on my blog about it a few weeks ago.

Crocs are the best!

You know, I resisted these for a long time. I kept telling my girls they were a fad, they were silly, they were wasting their money buying them because next year they'd be "out" and some other silly new shoe would take its place (remember the short-lived jelly shoes of the '80s?).

Of course, I was wrong, wrong, wrong. Crocs are bigger than ever and seem here to stay with all the variations on the market.

And now, a year later, I confess that I've seriously considered them for myself.

I've apologized to the girls for being so negative. They wagged their fingers at me and said, "We told you they were great!"

Exactly!!
My girls still have their flip flops, but I just got them for the boy. :)

You know it's funny, because seeing boys wear them, I had been thinking, "those are really girl shoes." But they are certainly more masculine than feminine!

My daughter begged me for them. At school they have to have a strap for safety reasons--so no flip flops on the playground. So--Crocs.

I think I'm going to get my little guy some, too. You just can't beat them.

By the way, they are much cheaper online. We got ours at shoes.com.

You're so funny, Andrea. I've been trying to avoid crocs too, but I will have to get some for my little boy if his feet get big enough before they're out of style.

They look so cute on your wee one.

I'm enjoying reading your posts...just popping in. Blessings, kat
