we're starting to get those early colors, too.... and that little bit of crispness to the air. i love fall......

oh, and glad to know you had seen the Bill Moyers clip on MTR. i'm glad the media is finally starting to cover this tragedy that is happening down here in the appalachians.

So when you say "backyard", do you *really* get to see that from your HOUSE, or were you using "backyard" more figuratively?

Lovely...I think we're all ready. My girl came to me today to tell me that it smells like fall outside. (79 degrees as opposed to 94 with 100% humidity--it's all relative.) :)

Looks exciting! That's how I feel about fall...Thanksgiving is the best holiday, and Christmas is almost sad to me (as far as weather) because the beauty of autumn is done.

I also love Autumn (I thought you called it 'Fall' your side of the Atlantic?!) - almost as much as Spring! There's a real sense of sweet nostalgia about it, and it invigorates me.
