Last letter

In light of my post on heaven, I wanted to share a letter written by a friend of mine's mother. Her mother suffered on and off with cancer for over 20 years. She went to be with the Lord this past weekend. Please go read her "last letter" written to friends and family. It is long, but worth the read. Truly amazing, and puts it all in perspective.

Andrea,
Thank you so much for sharing this. What a dear saint, and what an honor and a sweet blessing to be able to read her last letter.

How completely beautiful.
I loved your post on Heaven, bookmarking it to reread several times. You should write a book. Really, you should.

Thanks for sharing this. This was such an encouragement to me today. I read the letter and watched the video dated April 29, 2007 and it was really good. I sent the link to my sister, who is not a believer, but is searching.

I found God's timing amazing when just as she was giving up He sent a total stranger to admonish her not to. Beautiful! What an honest and real portrait of the life of a saint in pain. Thank you for sharing the letter, Andrea.

In some ways, makes me think we should always be writing letters of love and consequence, for who knows the day or the hour...

Thank you for sharing, for writing your own wonderful letters of love here on Flourishing Mother.
