A full Sabbath

Some Sabbaths are full. Generally, I like a restful Sabbath. Today was full.

Full of flowers from the farmer's market...

Full of CSA produce to eat...

Full of two girls delighted with their "new" school desks found on "Craigslist"...(picked up today!)

...which even incited schoolwork on Sunday!!

...At church, being filled with the knowledge of the persecuted church in the Middle East...

Despite the "fullness", there were definitely empty plates...

And blessed be his glorious name for ever: and let the whole earth be filled with his glory; Amen, and Amen. ~Psalm 72:19

Oooh, new desks...i bet your girls were thrilled!
Just so you know, I have emailed you back about 4 times now, and each time, when I pressed send, my computer has done something funky and the emails have been deleted...I am going to keep at it, and eventually it will get to you!!!

Hey! What a nice full day you had...flowers, produce and smiles...can't get much better than that! And don't you love Craigslist!? We even bought our car through Craigslist! Thanks for the links on the persecuted church...and I'm so thankful to live in a place where I am free to worship...it's easy to take it for granted.

I just want to put my face near those flowers, breathe deeply, let the soft petals brush by my cheeks. They are lovely.

Hi Andrea! Long time, no read!

I love the desks...my girls have long wanted flip-top desks like that. I trust your girls will get lots of good use out of their "real" desks. :)

I love the desks! How fun! The flowers and produce are inspiring! And what a blessing to worship with believers praying for the persectued church.

On that note, we pray on Fridays for people in other countries..including our compassion children. I have been wanting a resource to systematically learn about and pray for those in other countries...one I'm considering is from "Voice of the Marytrs" called "Kids of Courage". I haven't decided on anything yet.

Our new fun craigslist purchase was another co-sleeper for one of our new babies.
