How I like my oatmeal

In these bowls.

On a foggy morning.

With my darlings at the table.

(...and brown sugar, bananas, and walnuts on top.)

How do you like your oatmeal?

Equal part water and old fashioned oats. Cooked for 5 minutes. Honey drizzled all over. Fluffed with a fork. And finally, icy cold milk poured over the top. All served on a cold morning. Yum.

We're oatmeal twins!! B.sugar, bananas and walnuts. Cinnamon and soy milk would perfect it for me. And it's just as good at sundown as it is at sunrise!!

We are often soaking oatmeal at night in the pot in the fridge. We like: Steel cut with honey and also regular oatmeal with honey. I like bananas in them. We love Elise's "Amish Oatmeal" (I think that's the name). Mary Brooke

Sweet!
I like brown sugar and as many fresh strawberries or blueberries as will fit in the bowl and milk.

Every Monday, cooked on the stovetop with 2 cups water, 2 cups milk, 3 cups old fashioned oats(feeds my whole brood), cut fresh fruit, brown sugar, a touch of butter, and a sprinkling of chocolate chips!! It's the kids' favorite breakfast.

I have seen your comments on some of the blogs I enjoy and so thought I would come visit. I love your reason for blogging. I find that is why I blog too - except I am in a different season of life. Our nest is empty these days, but our hearts are filled with seven precious grandchildren.
I am enjoying your blog!
