sweet simple things

I am beginning to learn that it is the sweet, simple things of life which are the real ones after all.

::a favorite spot in my home::

::fried rice made by my daughter, seltzer with mint, a good book, sunshine::

::a gracious, gracious and dear friend sent me this robe (a big surprise) i have been eyeing for awhile...
it spoke God's love to me in volumes--when i needed it the most::

What sweet, simple things are you loving lately?

My son is currently being Sal, traveling to the living room to look for blueberries on Blueberry Hill. Such blessings, these little minds. Thank you for reminding me to fight for joy. There are so many gifts.

I have read of multiple blogs today talking about the simple things they love in life. This is so great, and I love the pic of your house by the way....I would have to say this is just what I needed today....an attitude check. My baby has not been sleeping much the past couple days and is keeping me busy when he is up. But our beautiful walk on a cool morning was absolutely refreshing. I would have to say that was my simple pleasure of the day (so far) :) thanks for your wondeful thoughts!

Loved all the pics and the courage to post your baby belly. I'm just two weeks behind you and I'm not ready to post my tummy out there. Maybe next week!
:)
Praying for a wonderful delivery...nothing is impossible, right?
